Foreign Architects

Foreign Architects release their newest and shiniest yet EP, Coasters and Caravans, on July 20, coinciding with the release of lead single, High Street. “I penned this song in London last year, where among other things, I was perpetually confused about how there could be so many streets called ‘High Street’ that the locals would refer to, before I realised they called every main street the ‘high street’. The song uses the term as a metaphor for a place where you feel happy, and how sometimes a certain person can drive you straight there.”
(Singer, Matt Burke)
The title of the EP, Coasters and Caravans, reflects this London setting where some of lyrics were written in the corners of pubs, (drinking relatively warm pints compared to Australia), where the remainder of the EP was penned in a caravan in Gracetown, of WA’s South West.
